A leading Facilities Management provider with a turnover in excess of £160 million is looking for a professional to fill their role of Senior Bid Manager at their Yorkshire site. Joining a successful bid team, the individual will be responsible for the preparation of key Facilities Management bids typically ranging from £5-10 million.. The successful candidate will be responsible for all aspects of the process of sourcing and targeting of specific bids through to pre-qualification.
Experience of Private Finance Initiative (PFI) bids is an advantage. Strong communication skills are necessary in order to portray the service solutions to clients and present the tender bid to the construction team.
• Management of tender bid & pre-contract activities.
• Manage fully considered and co-ordinated tender.
• Develop Supply Chain.
• Enable correct net bid to be established.
• Establish opportunities/scope to win tender bids.
• Risk co-ordination.
Who we're looking for
Construction related degree
3 years+ experience within the Facilities Management Industry
Experience within a similar role
Strong communication skills
Experience working in several of the following sectors: Commercial, Retail, Education, Health, Residential.
Detailed knowledge of all key forms of Procurement Routes, with particular knowledge of PFI/PPP
