Vie President AND Director - Liquidity Risk - roles based in London, city with a major global investment bank

Director role: main focus will be to lead global effort to develop and implement liquidity risk framework with respect to collateral management (including secured funding and unencumbered trading positions. The success of this effort will be dependent upon the incumbent's ability to develop working relationships with, and an understanding of, the businesses that trade or manage the institution's equity and fixed income collateral. VP role: main focus will be to support development / implementation of liquidity risk framework with respect to collateral management (including secured funding and unencumbered trading positions).

The candidates taking these important roles will be responsible for development and implementation of liquidity concepts dealing with the banks global secured funding activities and unencumbered trading positions.

The Director position requires a confident individual with management potential and leadership skills. The incumbent will be expected to have a detailed understanding of industry practices and previous hands-on experience of in a group of professionals with significant experience managing contingent risks in the repo, sec lending, and/or prime brokerage businesses. Such experience would logically be obtained in the broker dealer community.

The VP should have a minimum of , worked within fin repo market, ability to deal with debt securities and equity inventory.

Both roles will involve liaising with front office business and other risk management areas.
The positions will also require the successful applicants to be able to work independently without micro-management and deliver results in a timely manner.
