Employee Relations Consultant

Temp ⁄ to £23 per hour
6 month contract

The Employee Relations Consultant will be responsible for the following;
• To manage all individual complex people management cases through to resolution, in line with agreed legal frameworks and SLAs.

• To manage and deliver quality consistent and clear advice, support and coaching to line managers on the application of company employment policies.

• To provide quality consistent advice and support to employees in the area of employment policies.
• Manage the end to end complex cases through to termination and/or employment tribunal where necessary.

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will demonstrate the following;
• Customer relationship and customer service skills• Experience of handling high volume complex case loads
• In depth knowledge of Employee Relations policies, procedures and processes and significant experience of managing their application
• In depth knowledge of employment law and ACAS direction.
• A comprehensive understanding of how employee relations needs to be managed in a unionised environment
• Ability to influence and coach managers on complex cases
• Ability to influence at a senior level, including successfully facilitating joint decision-making
• CIPD qualified or relevant qualification
