The role is an exciting opportunity to join a dynamic and evolving business. Winlock Security Limited is a £7.5m turnover subsidiary of the Lowe and Fletcher Group based on the Halesfield Ind Est, Telford.

This will be a very interesting and rewarding position and represents a great opportunity to get involved with a forward-looking company with a strong strategic vision at a very exciting time. With the support of and reporting into the Managing Director, responsibilities will include:

• Liaising with all areas of the company to consolidate and implement the business strategy
• Developing strong business controls across the operation
• Improving, streamlining and modernising accounting practices
• Optimising the IT system to produce timely and accurate Management Accounts packs
• Introducing appropriate and useful KPIs to inform management decisions
• Improving costing methodologies
• Developing the finance team

Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will have a sales and distribution background and will be a qualified accountant (ACA, ACCA, ACMA) who can demonstrate the ability to manage the main KPI's within a business of this nature. The Financial Controller must also be able to demonstrate strong technical competence coupled with solid staff management experience.
