Group Accountant

• Plan and manage annual budget process
• Prepare monthly accounts (with support from analyst) and present to, and discuss with senior management
• Manage and guide analyst supporting the Group Accountant
• Interact with Divisional Controllers and Management.
• Key interface with internal and external auditors
• Drive the annual report and accounts process, including the half year interims report and the quarterly update statements
• Ensure Group compliance with latest IFRS standards
• Manage treasury and working capital of the Group.
• Participate in various projects (improvement, M&A etc) across the Group

Who we're looking for
Strong background from financial controlling is essential and preferably from a publicly listed company.
• Strong analytical skills, but still have the ability to take a holistic view
• The ability to drive through processes and to work within clear deadlines.
• Take initiative and have the ability to challenge the business units on their forecasts and budgets.
• Audit experience with a major international accounting/audit firm would be an advantage.
• Experience in IFRS in essential.
• Experience of working with tax and internal pricing issues would be an advantage.
• Good communication skills and building of effective working relationships at all levels across the organisation is essential
