This is a highly commercial Financial Analyst role in the Central Europe division of Hutchison Port Holdings (HPH), a subsidiary of the multinational conglomerate Hutchison Whampoa Limited. Based in SW London, this role requires a high degree of commercial acumen.
The successful candidate will assist in the review of investment proposals, including financial modelling, analysis and evaluation. You will also perform financial due diligence, tax and financial planning, as well as on-going management reporting.
Who we're looking for
The successful applicant will be a qualified accountant (ACA / CIMA / ACCA / CFA) ideally with a track record of investment appraisals (Mergers & Acquisition type work). In addition, you will be/have:
• Highly commercial with hands-on experience in developing and maintaining financial models.
• A proven track record of appraising investment opportunities and participating in ad hoc accounting and finance projects.
• Excellent interpersonal and communication skills.
• A self-starter who will challenge information.
• Ability to work well in a small team and willingness to drive business performance.
• Ability to work under pressure and to tight deadlines.
• Travelling in the EU on short-term projects.
• Knowledge of treasury activities beneficial but not essential.
• Experience in ports, logistics or infrastructure developments an advantage.
