The position will involve -
Charitable giving on a national and international basis
Charity law including the establishment, operation and reorganisation of charities
Contentious trust and estate issues
Enduring powers of attorney and wardship matters
Heritage property
Life time disposals
Taxation issues relating to all of the above.
Trust law including the establishment, administration and break up of trusts
Succession law including the preparation of wills and the administration of estates
Who we're looking for
Applicants should have
• a strong academic background with experience in the field of trusts, estates and tax
• excellent technical and drafting skills and an ability and an eye for detail
• excellent interpersonal skills and an ability to communicate promptly and effectively with both clients and colleagues
• a pragmatic, commercial approach
• an ability to work independently or as part of a team as necessary
• an ability to prioritize effectively, to meet deadlines and to see tasks through to conclusion
• a good work ethic, enthusiasm, drive & motivation
