Treasury & Reporting Accountant

As Treasury & Reporting Accountant you will be responsible for managing all treasury requirements and supporting timely and accurate reporting within this aviation manufacturer, based in Cheltenham. Your role will include development of our cash forecasts in support of maximising business cash performance.
Scope includes:
* Treasury:
- Maintaining foreign exposure forecasts and developing a hedging program;
- Completion of quarterly treasury reporting and reconciliation;
- Working with Contracts and Supply Chain to identify and report embedded derivative exposures;
- Development of cash forecasts and early identification of variances to operating plan;
- Requesting and maintaining bank guarantees ;
- Key point of contact for all Treasury matters;
- Ad hoc treasury projects.
* Reporting:
- Providing leadership for continual improvements in reporting processes and controls;
- Resolving reporting queries and managing interfaces;
- Supporting month end GL close and reporting requirements, maintaining and reconciling local GL and Centrepiece GL and management accounts base data;
- Ensuring compliance with account reconciliation requirements;
- Ad hoc reporting projects.
Who we're looking for
You will:
*be degree-qualified (or equivalent) with CIMA or ACCA qualification and significant post qualification exposure in a complex commercial environment.
* be managing our treasury exposures and will thus require a good understanding of the business, financial forecasts and contract terms.
* have specialist knowledge to support compliance with corporate and statutory financial reporting requirements.
* need to be able to demonstrate strong accounting skills, successful process improvement implementation and excellent team working skills.
* have the ability to gain credibility with Systems, senior finance and general management.
