Structured Finance & Securitisation Lawyer

The role will involve working as part of a team, and in some cases, leading teams on a variety of structured finance and securitisation transactions. There will be scope for the successful applicant to define and to develop the role. The scope of the work undertaken by the team, the structure of the team and the open and flexible working environment allows this. The role will be significantly client facing.

Who we're looking for
Any successful applicant will need the following skills:
• Will have led or be willing to lead deals
• Will be able to draft and negotiate sale or transfer, security, liquidity and servicing documents and offering circulars
• A demonstrable ability to deliver, to be proactive and to execute deals.
• An appetite, and the skills, for business development.
• A positive, "can-do" attitude, and the ability to gain the confidence and trust of clients and colleagues.
• The ability to contribute to the general upkeep of the group (whether that be to training, precedents, or know-how)
• Strong commercial awareness
• The necessary drive and commitment to succeed in a fast-paced, ambitious environment.

The successful candidate will have:
• Excellent academic achievement with a minimum 2:1 degree
• Experience of structured finance and securitisation (public & private) gained within a comparable environment and at an
appropriate level is essential. Derivatives experience would be an additional benefit.
