A fantastic opportunity has arisen for apolicy officer. As the suitable candidate you will:
You will be tasked with analysing how our rules and regulatory approach will need to work, as well as designing and delivering any necessary changes, to translate the ideas behind these optionsinto practice. You willwork onprojects developing proposals. Your work work includes researching market practices, managing external consultants and formulating and testing a range of policy ideas.

Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a candidate with:
• Analysis: strong analytical and problem solving skills, together with the ability to think innovatively about policy issues and to deliver pragmatic solutions
• Policy: an interest in policy making
• Self-starter: the proven ability to work autonomously and think on your feet
• Communicating effectively: strong written and oral communication skills, including preparing written material for both internal and external consumption
• Judgement: ability to assess what evidence is needed and, as appropriate, to make decisions based on imperfect information
• Relationship management: ability to develop and maintain excellent relationships at all levels with key internal and external stakeholders
• Regulation:An understanding of the impact of regulation on consumers and businesses and the implications for policy-making
