A broad and progressive role in a multi-national group. This particular subsidiary is a newly formed division and therefore offers the candidate a chance to join a fast-growing and ambitious business. Plans to put in a new SAP accounts package mean there will be scope to get involved in the early stages of a system implementation and offer the opportunity to get 'hands-on' experience in setting up a new accounting structure.
Initially the role will involve assistant-level accounting functions: month-end accounting, posting journals, invoicing/credit controls and other areas of accounting suitable to someone who wants to build on the foundations of their studies. Over time the role will develop to include full management accounts preparation, exposure to forecasting and budgeting, payroll, fixed asset register and other functions that compliment one's qualification.
This role is a chance to work under a senior manager who's development and mentoring skills have been refined by extensive experience and training.
The postholder MUST be accessible to working in two locations as while the business is currently based near Thirsk, North Yorkshire, the company will most likely be based in South Yorkshire within 12 months.
