Your role will be to manage the affairs of over 600 clients in the service, retail and wholesale sectors through the management of11 staff including managers and assistant managers.
As Manager/Senior Manager of this leading accountancy firm, you will be responsible for overseeing the management and preparation of annual accounts, management accounts, VAT returns and ad hoc business advise across a broad spectrum of commercial senior clients. You will give direct support to managers and work closely with the partner group.

We are looking for enthusiasm and drive from the successful individual. You must have commercial acumen and be capable of making a difference through developing your role, business service, people and systems. You must portray a positive attitude and have the ability to deal with clients and colleagues in a professional manner at all times.
To be successful you must have the following:
• be able to prepare accounts for partnerships, sole traders and limited companies
• understand accounting standards and disclosure requirements.
• ability to give ad hoc business advice
• general knowledge of small business taxation including VAT
• ability to produce accounts through computerised systems
• good knowledge of Sage
• experience in previous dealings with owner managed business affairs including internal systems and procedures.
You should be CA/ACCA qualified and demonstrate the ability to develop to Director level in time.
