Commercial Litigator

Our client is a specialist Litigation practice based on Jersey, and they are now looking to recruit several Commercial Litigators to join the firm. Working as a Commercial Litigator, you will manage your own caseload with assignments focused on the firm's key specialist areas: Trusts and Commercial Dispute Resolution, and Financial Crime and Regulation. You will be working on a range of issues, many of them involving complex cross-border claims, and this will require you to be able to develop contacts in a range of jurisdictions. You will also be expected to conduct your own advocacy, appearing in the local courts with some possibility of appearing in other jurisdictions if required.

Who we're looking for
• Common-Law qualified lawyers with strong advocacy skills.
• Experience of multijurisdictional dispute resolution is highly advantageous but not essential.
• You should be committed to relocating to Jersey and to building up the practice there, through marketing activities both on the island and internationally.
• You should be open to pursuing the advocacy qualifications on Jersey.
