Based within the Clinical Audit and Research Unit in central London the Research Manager will contribute to the Trust's research and development (R&D) programme by developing research project protocols, submitting these to relevant bodies to obtain funding, and coordinating the set-up and running of these projects in accordance with the project plan. The Research Manager will also contribute to the collation, writing and presentation of findings. A further important aspect of this role is the support and management of two Data Officers. There is no requirement for previous NHS or healthcare experience.
Who we're looking for
The ideal Research Manager will be:
• Degree level educated as a minimum and ideally have a post-graduate qualification.
•Confident with setting up and running research projects.
• Comfortable with leading and conducting Qualitative and Quantitative research using MS Word, PowerPoint, Access, SPSS, Excel and in the production of clear written reports.
•A confident manager.
• Able to compose and submit funding proposals.
Previous NHS experience is not required.
