The primary function of the Infrastructure Support Engineer within this Pharmaceutical group involves supporting the infrastructure and offering a 3rd line escalation point to the support team during the groups office move. The support team is responsible for a userbase of 220 in the UK that are currently spread between Berkshire and Buckinghamshire sites. The Infrastructure Support Engineer will need to maintain/manage the 15+ servers and various network infrastructure that is currently in place, including a Nortel phone systems. Included within this role is an amount of vendor management, including groups like BT.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate to fulfil the role of Infrastructure Support Engineer at this Pharmaceutical group MUST possess demonstrable experience of the following areas:
• Windows Server 2003
• Lotus Domino Server
• Network Switches & Routers
• LAN/WAN Configuration
• Virtualisation (VMWare)
• Telephone Systems (Nortel)
• Vendor Management
• MCSE / CCNA

The organisation are moving to a brand new office in the Berkshire area and require this contract to run until the move is complete at the end of the year, this role also has the potential to be made permanent at such time.
