1. Prepare financial monthly reports
2. Take instructions and prepare budgets, forecasts and plans
3. Prepare CAPEX proposal documentation
4. Prepare statutory financial statements and assist with external and internal auditors
5. Perform variance analysis
6. Compile a Group accounting manual, a risk management profile and carry out internal compliance audits.
7. Ensure all control accounts are agreed monthly including bus cash, National Express and fuel consumption.
8. Ensure proper integration of acquisitions and disposals
9. Prepare Powerpoint presentations including graphics, chart displays etc
10. Perform and other reasonable task as required by the Finance Director and other member of the Group Board of Directors
Who we're looking for
• ACA; ACCA or ACMI qualification with admission to membership of professional body
• Relevant post qualification
• Familiarity with IFRS and up to date accounting policies and guidelines
• Proven capability in preparation of consolidated and statutory accounts
• Medium to large firm / company experience an advantage
