Reporting to the Resourcing & Talent Manager, the successful candidate will manage the Trainee Manager programme to develop Retail Managers. They will recruit the Trainee Managers, and Line Manage them throughout their period on the Training Scheme. They will co-ordinate the internal and external training and development events, and also coach existing Managers who act as mentors to the Trainee Managers. They will run a selection of the Training Courses personally and keep in close contact with the trainees both on the phone and with personal visits to their training sites.
Who we're looking for
You will have worked in a multi site role within Retail, Leisure or Hospitality. You will have experience of Recruitment and Development and ideally you will have previously overseen a Training Scheme. You will have previously managed a team and will be comfortable with the Line Management responsibilities which come with the role. In person you will be upbeat, engaging and passionate. You will be happy with some travel and overnight stops and evening work.
