A fantastic opportunity has arisen for economists. As the suitable candidate you will:
•Identifying and analysing risks from the business
• operating environment, particularly macroeconomic and financial market developments, and assessing the threats that they may pose to the organisation' s objectives. Using this analysis to:
•Develop forward-looking assessments and scenario analysis; Follow up the risk reviews by delivering
oral and written presentations to the line divisions, as an input to the firm-specific Arrow Framework;
•Develop tools that enable supervisory staff to link macro and market phenomena to firm-specific issues;
• Develop strategic policy and regulatory options
Who we're looking for
Our client is looking for a candidate who is a:
Conceptual thinker, with proven analytical abilities. The ability to deliver material relevant to our customers' needs, with a clear focus on the risks to the organisation's objectives.
• Experience in economic, financial, policy and/or• risk analysis. The successful candidates will probably have good postgraduate degrees in economics or a related subject.
• Good quantitative skills, as the jobs entail the use of econometric models.
• Ability to manage work streams and relationships to deliver agreed outcomes.
• Must be able to maintain theintegrity of our products - providing challenge (including our own assumptions) on what makes a quality product.
