The Head of Finance position in Edinburgh is a varied and important position within the organisation. Reporting to the Chief Executive and a key member of the management team, the Head of Finance will be required to attend board meetings, be heavily involved in strategic matters and have overall responsibility for the Finance team.
Key duties include:
• Day to day management of the Finance team.
• Production of monthly management accounts including commentary and analysis.
• Preparation of year-end statutory accounts and production of mid-year financial forecasts, annual budgets and five-year business plan.
• Management of the charity's investment advisors.
• Responsible for Company Secretarial duties.

Who we're looking for
• Commercially focused and qualified accountant.
• Experience of producing budgets, business plans and making strategic decisions within a business.
• Excellent team player with strong interpersonal skills and an eye for detail.
• Ability to negotiate contracts.
• Previous experience of working within a charity accounting function, working on capital projects and performing Company Secretarial duties would be preferred but not essential.

What's on offer
£40,000 - £50,000 with flexibility depending on experience.
