This opportunity has arisen within a global leader in the healthcare industry. The company is heavily involved in the research and development of cutting edge products as well as being the technological leader in their field. In this role you will be focussing on the overall procurement functions of both the direct manufacturing commodities as well as the non-inventory spend. Responsibilities within this will span across the entire procurement cycle beginning with supplier identification through negotiation to contract/supplier management. Within this you will be looking to implement forward-thinking alternative methods or systems to improve the systems and the bottom-line.
This position has very close alignment with the Supply Chain functions and due to this close working relationship you will also be looked upon to deliver the procurement perspective into any number of supply chain projects impacting the team.

Who we're looking for
We are looking for a CIPS qualified procurement professional with expertise across both direct and indirect categories for the end-to-end procurement cycle. Due to the nature of this role you will have interaction with all organisational levels both internally and externally.
