KAS Bank specialises in a wide range of securities and investor services.Your focus will be on quickly becoming a specialist and brand ambassador for KAS BANK, therefore actively challenge Financial Intermediaries or Institutional Investors on their current services or partnership arrangements, with a view to positioning KAS BANK as their preferred choice of financial services provider.
Typically, you will use a combination of networking and existing leads created by sales and marketing initiatives. However, the expectation is that you will support this by creating client referrals and developing initiatives to identify new introductory channels in order to increase the use and distribution of KAS BANK's products and services within the Financial Intermediaries or Institutional Investors community.
The Sales Manager will be responsible for:
• Promoting the Bank's product range to Institutional Investors or Intermediaries
• Organising of sales meetings & follow ups
• Responding to queries from prospects and clients
• Building and maintaining sales databases and reports
• Achieving stretching sales targets in line with agreed budgets
• Adhoc research projects
• Monitoring market place and competitor environment
• Most importantly, you will be able to work autonomously as well as liaise and co operate with the wider sales, relationship management, client services, marketing and finance teams.
Who we're looking for
• Ideally from a financial services background or in a commercial role focusing on Financial Intermediaries or Institutional Investors
• Current sales & marketing experience, with a broad knowledge of identifying relevant prospects, initiating contact and following through a pipeline to fruition. You will be comfortable dealing at senior level both face to face and over the telephone and have the natural tenacity and verbal ability to make a success in a new business environment. A background of research is useful however, the key skill is clearly the ability to make contact and create an impact.
• Current recent experience of sales through a variety of channels (banks, brokers, dealers, asset managers, pension schemes, local authorities etc)
• Senior level sales experience and board room exposure
• Strong negotiation skills
• Very strong analytical, numerical and forecasting skills
• Lively and strong personality with excellent internal and external networking skills
Candidates with an understanding of the critical components of the asset-liability management process or the post trade securities industry and the clearing processes, will be looked upon very favourably. However, this is not a prerequisite.
