NQ Clinical Negligence Solicitor

You will work within the 16 strong clinical negligence team under the supervision of a more senior member of the team.
The team has a proven track record in defending high value obstetrics, paediatrics and neurosurgical claims and are looking for an additional team member.

You will be acting for the NHSLA, the MDU and private insurers.
You will mainly dealing with a challenging caseload of defendant clinical negligence work and will be involved in obtaining and drafting pleadings, witness statements and letters of response, conducting face to face negotiations and mediation of claims as well as preparing counter schedules of damages in high value claims.

Who we're looking for
A newly qualified solicitor from a well recognised firm who has a real desire to qualify as a clinical negligence solicitor. Ideally you will:
• Have gained good some experience of high value defendant clinical negligence work
• Have a passion for injury litigation
You will be a confident communicator with the ability to negotiate and influence at all levels. The successful candidate will be commercially minded and results driven, with the ability to see legal issues within the client's broader operating environment.
Candidates who have undertaken a seat within personal injury or a commercial litigation department who have a real interest in clinical negligence will also be considered.
