It is a journey of significant change that Novartis is embarking on and the role of Employee Development Manager is a pivotal one. It is key to the success of the operational transformation which is taking place over the coming years and as a member of a leading-edge HR team you will be responsible for the development of key capabilities across the organisation.
This is a diverse and challenging development role, with a rare opportunity to shape the future success of an organisation by defining the culture of the new manufacturing site while developing the employee capability to match that culture. Alongside this the role will manage the talent and succession planning for the site, management development, performance management, facilitation and the development of technical training.

Who we're looking for
It goes without saying you will be an experienced L&D professional. We are looking for a tenacious, passionate individual who has proven leadership capabilities and can engage with all levels within a complex business. Experience in driving a culture and step change in an organisation is essential.
The ideal candidate will have extensive experience, operating within complex blue-chip businesses. This is a fantastic opportunity to shape an organisation through creative and inspiring training methods across the business. You will work with highly-skilled professionals in the pursuit of excellence.
