Group PR Manager

In this Group PR positions, you will support the Head of Group Communications to ensure effective management performance of the Group PR function including strategic planning for the years PR activities as the running of an efficient press office with specific responsibility for UK consumer and trade.
You will be responsible for:
• Managing the day to day running of the press office - on and offline
• Develop relations with key UK media - including trade publications, online followers consumer magazines, national and regional newspapers and broadcast media
• To have the ability to deal with media enquiries confidently and efficiently.
• To work with UK Marketing and Commercial teams, and 3rd party PR teams, to identify publicity opportunities and deliver them on budget and exceeding targets.
• Develop and manage the features programme/features-tracking schedule, manage photocalls and oversee media competitions.
• Develop and manage proactive PR campaigns to introduce the Group brands
• To maximise profile and coverage over a wide range of activities, including new store openings, nationwide store promotions as well as more specific activities linked to publisher product launches and activities

• Manage media access to, and relationships with, senior UK Directors including Marketing, Commercial, Property, HR, Distribution and Online for all brands

• To oversee, with the UK Marketing Manager, the Marketing and PR Assistant.


Who we're looking for
To be successful within this Group PR Manager position, you will:
- Educated to degree level
- Have previous experience within a PR/journalist environment
- Good analytical skills
- PR Experience within a retail or entertainment environment ins desirable
