In this role you will experience the demands of working for a private equity owned company and be able to make a positive contribution, implementing change and improvements to drive business reporting requirements. More specifically, AZ Electronic Materials require an individual to take ultimate responsibility for the production of accurate and timely Group external statutory reporting. Your role will be pivotal in the development of such reporting as the Group approaches Plc status.

• Preparation and review of the Group consolidated accounts under IFRS;
• Production and review of the year-end / interim audit files under IFRS;
• Liaise with the external auditors on interim and year end audits;
• Drive forward the professionalism of the external reporting to meet Plc requirements;
• Co-ordinate the Group reporting requirements with divisional finance and assisting Group reporting teams to ensure information received in accordance with those requirements;
• Provide technical advice to the wider finance management on interpretation and implementation of IFRS and accounting policies;
• Work with the local finance teams to ensure that consistent practices and procedures are adopted across the Group;
• Work alongside IT, develop the means to automate the statutory account reporting requirements through SAP;
• Assist the Senior Tax Manager with tax analysis for the corporation tax disclosures;
• Coordination of the statutory accounts for Luxembourg Holding companies and UK Service company under Luxembourg GAAP and UK GAAP;

Who we're looking for
AZ Electronic Materials require a graduate calibre qualified ACA or ACCA, with 4+ years post qualifying experience. You must possess a proven track record of achievement, current technical knowledge, including IFRS and Plc experience, as well as the drive to achieve targets, deliver deadlines and provide results.

You must be team orientated with strong communication skills, feel confident in a Plc/ head office environment, and within the remit of group finance and international consolidations.

The right candidate will be advanced level Excel and exposure to SAP including Business Warehouse is preferred.
