Commercial Manager

This is an incredible opportunity to directly shape the commercial development of a unique and rapidly growing business. The Commercial Manager will take charge of the field sales team and the strategic development of the distribution network as well as licensee relationships and promotional activity. The role requires a strong, analytical focus to be able to develop the Nespresso distribution strategy and establish the Nespresso brand as the 'Ultimate Coffee Experience' in the target retail market. This will be achieved through effective key account planning and execution combined with innovative point of sale activity, evaluation and analysis. Central to the continued success of the Nespresso product and brand is the effective management and development of the UK sales team to maintain and grow existing accounts and ensure the brand is continually represented correctly.

Who we're looking for
This is a hybrid sales and marketing position and will require a candidate with strong commercial acumen. You will possess the correct balance of pro-active sales focus coupled with real marketing ability based on sound analytical and strategic planning. Candidates could come from a variety of backgrounds including FMCG, Consumer Durables or Luxury products and will understand the potential for a luxury food/drink product in today's discerning market. While man management experience is ideal it is not essential but an ability to shape, build and grow a sales team is critical. Other skills and competencies include:

Ideal candidates could be sales people with a National Accounts or Field Sales background with extensive exposure to strategic analysis. Alternatively you may come from a Marketing background with the ability to demonstrate sound strategic and analytical skills coupled with a proven ability to deliver across multi-site operations. Finally an ability to live through and fully represent the Nespresso brand is of paramount importance.

What's on offer
A basic salary of £60,000 to £65,000 plus car, Bonus and Benefits.
