Group cash team leader

The essence of this Group cash team leader role is to provide clear, accurate and timely cash reporting, budgeting and forecasting for the company and all its subsidiaries. The Group cash team leader role sits within a Treasury Department in a construction company in Exeter.
Your key responsibilities will also include:

• management of cash balances;
• daily management of the cash processing team;
• production of the daily cash position report;
• production of the weekly cash flow forecast report ;
• preparation of cheque requests;
• ad hoc cash queries;
• management of direct debits;
• assisting the production of the externally reported half year and year end cash flow statements;
• production of the monthly bank reconciliations;
• daily cash allocation to contracts;
• daily cash uploads and allocations;
• ad hoc requests from the business for information.

Who we're looking for
You will be someone with gravitas, with the ability to lead a team and you will:

•be a qualified or part qualified AAT, ACCA or ACA with Treasury exposure;
• be a Quick Learner;
• be adaptable;
• have financial knowledge and understanding of basic accounting procedures;
• have strong computer skills, especially Excel;
• have excellent communication skills;
• be studying or qualified;
• be resourceful.

You will be someone who is keen to implement change, has the ability to effectively communicate with senior members of staff, and is ready to be a Group cash team leader. If you are based in or around Exeter this role is perfect.
