Our client's rapidly growing Supply Chain department, based out of the London office,aims to redefine consulting by providing high value advice and high value delivery. They are not interested in large-scale systems implementation, or in leaving a client with the answer to the problem, but no way of achieving it. The Supply Chain service line works with clients to address issues of importance create value and deliver world-class business capabilities. Working closely with our industry groups and leveraging our client's brand as independent, trusted advisors, they provide their high profile clients with the following range of services including:
• Supply Chain Strategy
• Supply Chain Planning Collaboration
• Procurement
• Asset Lifecycle Management
They arelooking for individuals with significant consulting experience or individuals who have gained significant project and business improvement experience within large recognised businesses. They are looking for individuals who can demonstrate real impact within business and help transform some of the world's most respected commercial and public sector organisations.
As the Senior Manager / Director - Supply Chain Consultancy -you will be:
• Building & leading a team - accountability for establishing cohesive and committed ways for teams to work closely and effectively together.
•Be able to provide development opportunities for individuals at all levels in the practice (including career coaching).
• Growing a business - actively contributes to the ongoing development of the Supply Chain practice and assumes operational responsibility and accountability for assignments and delivery teams. Supports client relationships, business development and account management leadership.
• Involved in delivery - responsible for developing, shaping and delivering supply chain programmes of work, with our industry account teams and other practice areas.
• Recruitment - responsible for recruiting high calibre individuals into the practice.
• Communications - responsible for representing the Supply Chain practice in relevant management forums and supporting the rapid, profitable growth of the business as a member of the management team
Who we're looking for
Successful candidates for the Senior Manager / Director - Supply Chain Consultancy will have the following:
Academic Qualifications
Primary Degree (2.1) or above, from a leading university preferred
Professional Experience:
Demonstrated experience at a similar level.
Currently working in either a Big 4 or, global management consultancy firm - with an appropriate background, a track record of project delivery, business development and demonstrable skills in a specific supply chain service.
Industry Experience:
No requirement for sector specialisation but strong insight into one or more of the following would be helpful-
Government & Public Sector
Financial Services
Energy, Chemicals & Utilities
Consumer Products
Industrial Products
Technology, Communications & Entertainment and Healthcare
