The Somerset Charity lawyer role will report directly to the Head of Legal services to provide support through the provision of concise legal advice to the operational business. The teams principle clients are in the areas of compliance, support and effectiveness division. You will be expected to offer accurate, proportionate and pragmatic legal advice to a wide range of stakeholder, including members of the Board.
Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate for the role of Charity lawyer will have:
• Qualified as a barrister or solicitor
•A good background in charity law
• The ability to offer precise legal advise
• Knowledge of trust law
• Good strategic abilities
