Goldshield is a marketing-led, British pharmaceutical and consumer health company. The Directors' objectives are to continue to expand the portfolio of healthcare products, both in market sectors where the Group is already prominent and in those where it does not yet have an established market presence.
Continued expansion into international markets represents an important plank of the Group's long-term strategy. As a result of the Group's phenomenal growth a restructure has led to the creation of this new, exciting position.
The role will have responsibility for the overall global strategic plan. This includes implementation, execution and management of marketing initiatives employed to achieve sales and profitability targets of defined strategic products. Formulating and implementing new business opportunities to meet challenging sales targets and further expansion plans, you will also be responsible for budgeting, planning, analysis and other related items to determine marketing, advertising and communications plans.
As a member of the Management Board you will participate proactively and develop strong relationships internally, cross divisionally and externally ensuring strong market and brand presence. Working closely with other members of the Management Board the role offers a great deal of autonomy and influence. Flexibility on international travel will be required.
Who we're looking for
The successful individual is likely to be a self starter with a proven track record in marketing, management, leadership and the ability and desire to help develop and mould a fast-growing, demanding organisation. You will have extensive experience in account management, operating budgets and sales management. Attention to detail, excellent communication (written and verbal) organisational and project management skills are essential. Consumer health or FMCG background in this competitive market place is highly desirable.
