Reporting to the Surface Engineering Manager the Integrity Engineer is a challenging and rewarding position.
The primary accountability for this role is the identification, management and monitoring of all issues which have the potential to impact asset integrity. This shall include issues relating to equipment & hardware, process & procedures, operational business systems, verification & assurance and personnel competency.
Specific discipline responsibilities include the management of static mechanical systems, inspection engineering, pipelines engineering, corrosion engineering and fabric maintenance.
Working with your Discipline Engineering peers within the Engineering Team, you will also be responsible for ensuring that all Written Schemes of Examination are compliant, accurate and up to date.
Whilst the specific needs will be dictated by current business drivers and risks, you will provide the following engineering support;
1. Front-line support to the operated sites in order to assess, mitigate and resolve Asset Integrity related breakdowns, failures and under performance.
2. Assuring proper implementation of and compliance to all Asset Integrity related guidelines, standards, processes and procedures.
3. Ensure all Asset-integrity related risks are identified, assessed and mitigated in a timely and efficient manner.
4. Provide on-going review of the effectiveness and efficiency of Asset Integrity systems and activities, as well as identifying and leading appropriate interventions.
5. Identify and drive continuous improvement within Asset Integrity across the UK business.
6. Manage controllable expenditure.
7. Line Management of Integrity/Structural/Pipeline engineering support personnel.
Who we're looking for
Your qualifications and experience will include the following:
•Essential to this role is industrial experience, the majority of which will have been in the oil & gas industry related.
•Demonstrable experience of working in an Asset Integrity Management role
• Demonstrable HSE knowledge & skills, including knowledge of UK Safety Case, Verification Schemes and Pressure Systems Safety Regulations.
• Compute literate, including experience with electronic maintenance management systems
In addition, a working knowledge of rotating equipment, process, structural, electrical, instrumentation, safety, and control system design and operations would be desirable, as would experience in operability, operational readiness, operational surveillance, diagnostics, troubleshooting, and production optimisation.
You will also occasionally need to travel to the company's Offshore Oil & Gas Installations.
