Our Client is looking for a specialist projects lawyer to jointheir highly regarded Commercial Group. Our Client is currently growing its projects practice and the successful candidate will work closely with the existing team in Birmingham to grow this practice area.
The successful candidate will work closely with the existing team to grow the projects practice with a view ultimately to becoming the team leader in that practice area.
Who we're looking for
The successful candidate will be either a senior assistant/associate or junior partner, currently specialising in major projects and PFI in a large regional, national or city practice. Our client would also welcome interest from anyone currently in-house specialising in this area. The candidate will have experience of advising at all levels of the PFI contracting chain, in particular for procuring authorities, sponsors and principal subcontractors.
A keen interest in business development will be essential and an existing following or strong book of contacts will be important. This is a fantastic and rare opportunity for the right candidate to take a key role in shaping the development of this practice area in a strong national firm. A team player and good sense of humour are essential.
