The main responsibility of a Company Secretary in Guernsey is to manage a portfolio of clients within the company secretarial department.
Other accountabilities include:
- Organisation of appropriate agendas and documents for directors and shareholders meetings.
- Preparation of minutes and other consequential work arising from above meetings.
- Preparation of annual returns, fee lists, notices of changes of directors, etc.
-Liaison internally with other departments and externally with other group companies.
- Establishment of new companies: preparation of share certificates, updating share register, director's 'consent to act letters', etc.
Who we're looking for
The ideal Company Secretary will:
-Be ICSA qualified.
-Have a proven track record inin Financial Services, ideally within the Fund sector.
- Have excellent interpersonal skills.
