Reporting to the EMEA Tax Director this Tax Advisor role provides a real career opportunity for someone considering their first step into industry to make a real difference in a growing and dynamic international environment where the tax department is central to the ongoing business of the group.

Responsibilities will include:

• The project management, in conjunction with external advisors, of post-mergers reorganisations
• Assistance with the preparation of the group's accounting and reporting requirements for US and local reporting purposes.
• Assistance in the documentation and formulation of the group's transfer pricing arrangements (management fees, loans, sub-contract trading, cash pooling etc)
• Oversight of the tax compliance process in the 18 countries (this is outsourced to a Big 4 firm)
• Responsibility for the withholding tax advice and compliance for both the intra-group and external debt
• Providing tax advice where required on the contracts that the company entered into
• Managing tax audits throughout EMEA
• Working closely with the treasury, legal and accounting departments
• Perform tax analysis (with external advisors where appropriate) of new or developing tax rules and accounting standards and recommend appropriate actions.
• Oversee the tracking of the group tax cash flows.
• Whilst a knowledge of corporate tax is required the role also encompasses overseeing, in conjunction with external advisors, all taxes across EMEA (including VAT, Payroll, Expats etc).

Who we're looking for
The ideal candidate is likely to have:

• Sound core knowledge of UK taxation
• Preferably a qualified ACA/ACCA or CTA
• Knowledge of international taxation advantageous but not essential
• Willingness to learn and play a full part in the team
• Proficient in Excel

Sitel Corporation are a multi-billion dollar US owned company which employs around 70,000 people. The group manages call centres in 28 countries and was formed by the merger of Clientlogic and Sitel in 2007.

The EMEA business unit is over half of the worldwide group and, as such, has a very high profile. The role would incorporate providing tax advice and support for the 18 countries within EMEA (which includes certain elements of Latin America) and project managing, along with external advisors, discrete tax projects for the group.
