As Head of Fund Accounting in Guernsey you will work as part of the Company's senior management team and primarily be in charge of leading the growth of the Funds department.
Other key accountabilities include:
- ensuring that all reports and accounts for funds are prepared efficiently and accurately, consistently ensuring excellent client service.
- Maintain and develop outstanding working relationships with clients and their representatives to with regard to accounting and NAV issues, in order to promote the Organisation's reputation as a first class services provider.
- Manage and lead a team of qualified accountants and ensure that they produce first class work so as to maintain the outstanding reputation of the department and Company.
- Contribute actively to develop the overall strategy of the organisation.
- Determine and develop the necessary training for all members of the department - including direct and indirect reports.
Who we're looking for
The ideal Head of Fund Accounting will:
- Hold a professional qualification.
- Have a proven track record post-qualification, ideally within Fund Accounting or Management Accounting.
- Outstanding interpersonal skills.
- A proven track record managing a team of people.
