This exciting role is ideal for an Accountant with an interest in tax. Working within a dynamic team environment, your responsibilities will be varied and allow you to gain international exposure. Training and development will be provided to ensure that you acquire a strong knowledge and understanding of the UK and International tax regimes, creating a skill set which is in high demand in the current market.
More specifically you will be involved in the following:
• Review and analysis of tax accounts for the region.
• Regular assessment and analysis of monthly tax provisions and preparation of commentary on the effective tax rate for the month as compared to plan.
• Preparation of UK statutory accounts, including tax provisions.
• Providing assistance and support to Accountants within the region for tax provisions for Completion of personal tax reporting for UK companies including the calculation of PAYE and NIC liabilities and the coordination of filing annual tax returns for expatriate employees in the UK.
• Completion of personal tax reporting for UK employees working for overseas entities and branches operating within the region to comply with overseas tax legislation.
• Providing assistance and guidance in other tax matters for UK entities.
• Managing tax inspections, audits and queries relating to UK and international taxes.
• inclusion in the statutory accounts outside the UK.
• Ad hoc project work.
This role will see you interacting with both the Finance team and Operations. It is diverse and value adding, allowing you to truly make a difference.
Who we're looking for
BJ is seeking motivated Accountant who is interested in tax and is looking for a unique opportunity. Ideally you will have tax experience, however this is not essential as training will be provided as necessary. The ideal candidate will be a newly qualified (or close to) Accountant who has either trained in the profession or worked in industry. You will have strong communication skills and enjoy working in a lively team environment.
