The successful applicant will support the Resources Director in the proper governance of Bracknell Forest Homes.You will minute Board and Sub-Committee meetings,and will ensure members and staff are aware of legal and regulatory requirements and that best practice policies and procedures are in place.
Key responsibilities:
- Draft agendas, send out papers and minute Board and Sub-Committee meetings
- To produce statutory and regulatory returns
- To ensure that governance policies, procedures and records are in place
- To arrange the day-to-day programming of internal audits
- To implement and maintain a self-assessment of compliance system
- To maintain records in relation to hospitality and fraud reporting in accordance with regulatory requirements
- To support the Resources Director in the preparation for regulatory visits and inspections and in monitoring the progress of subsequent Action Plans
Who we're looking for
You will be a qualified company secretary with the ability to tale clear and accurate Minutes. You will have a good understanding of the concept of good governance and how it can be demonstrated and will have excellent written communication skills. You will have the ability to prioritise workload and meet tight deadlines whilst maintaining a controlled manner.

Our client is the new landlord which owns and manages homes in the Thames Valley area. This is a brand new organisation.
