This role reports directly into the Head of Employee Relations and is responsible for a small ER Advisory team.
The key deliverables of this role include:
• Providing advice and support to senior managers and HR Managers on employee relations issues including conditions of service, grievance, discipline, poor performance and sickness absence to ensure fair and consistent application of the organisation's policy.
• Providing analysis of statistical data for the HR Director and identifying trends in relation to grievances and Employment Tribunal cases
• Consulting/negotiating with Trade Unions and Staff Associations on employee relations issues
Who we're looking for
My client is looking for a CIPD qualified, ER specialist who has experience managing people and consulting on complex and sensitive ER matters. You will have excellent communication, influencing and negotiating skills and demonstrate strong leadership, decision making and problem solving skills.
