Learning & Development Manager

• Design and delivery of a range of training events and activities at all levels within thecompany to meet the people development strategy
• To support and assist other trainers and managers in delivery and facilitation of specific L&D events
• Design, layout and production of training materials and documentation
• Take responsibility for specific programmes eg Support teams anddevelopment programmes
• Assist L&D team with ad hoc projects, as required
• Assistance with scheduling, organization and administration of training events as required
• To ensure effective evaluation of training activity
• Produce regular and ad hoc reports for Director of Learning
• Assist in the implementation and improvement of training systems and procedures
• Assist in the implementation of Performance Review system
• To conduct training needs analysis forvarious groups and teams
• Liaise with other individuals and teams engaged in training activity within thecompany including other Training Managers, PSLs andCompany Group Training Representatives
• Assist with monitoring training budget
• To advise on provision of bothtechnical and nontechnical training
Who we're looking for
Ability to deliver range of skills programmes eg management, supervisory and personal development
Be able to work under their own initiative, taking a proactive approach to working
Reliability in attendance and time management
Project management- ability to self manage, manage range of projects simultaneously and met deadlines
Negotiation and influencing skills with the aptitude to deal with people at all levels
Organisational skills
Ability to work well under pressure and to meet deadlines
A calm and professional manner at all times
Excellent telephone and communication skills
Ability to multi-task and operate in a busy environment
Flexibility in approach and willingness to work outside normal office hours
Attention to detail
Self-confident, assertive and highly motivated

Team player - ability to work well within the L&D team and with other teams
