General Manager - Airsense Technology

We are recruiting for a General Manager to drive the growth of an £8.5M business (AirSense) that has recently been acquired by UTC Fire & Security. This business has extremely high growth potential and so we need someone who has a track record of successfully developing and growing a similar business opportunity.
This is a highly visible role within the wider (UTC) company and so presents itself as an incredible opportunity for the right person. You will have a remit to:
• build relationships both internally and externally to the company
• be responsible for the continuing expansion and growth of AirSense
• achieve fiscal and non fiscal results for this business
• be responsible for post-merger integration into Kidde product and S & FF EMEA
• ensure top talent management within the company
• grow sales profitability and extend AirSense current market share in order to develop a market leading position.
• manage all expense lines effectively to maximize increased profit opportunities.
• develop annual budgets in conjunction with Group MD.
Who we're looking for
You will be a leader of people with a strategic outlook. A background of working in the technical space, or with technical products, would be an asset as R&D and future new product development will play a major part in AirSense's growth. A self starter by nature you will be results driven, numerate and conversant with P & L accountability. Above all you must have competitive commercial business experience in a management role.
