My client is a large public sector organisation based in the Tees Valley area. They are looking to recruit an interim Finance & Control Executive for a period of 6 months.
The role revolves around quality control and non financial audit work with approximately 30% involving basic finance duties.
You will be responsible for:
• Validation of files to ensure that they are contractually compliant
• To assist the Finance & Control Manager in performing a detailed analysis of validation rejections
• Provide remedial training to operational co-workers in response to identification of rejection reasons
• Assist in the briefing of all new processes and process changes to all co-workers
• Support the Finance & Control Manager in ensuring the company is properly prepared for external audits
• Ensure that all sites within the region are fully conversant with and adhere to all finance policies and procedures
• Support operations in maintaining accurate petty cash, voucher and travel stock reconciliations on all sites
• Perform regular, documented audits of petty cash, voucher and travel stocks on all sites
• Perform regular, documented audits of purchase order procedures at all sites
