Senior Litigator

Our client, one of the leaders in global offshore legal services, is looking to recruit a Senior Litigator for their BVI practice. In this role, you will effectively run the litigation practice autonomously, reporting to the Managing Partner of the British Virgin Islands' practice. You will manage a varied client portfolio of local and international clients with multi-jurisdictional assignments, and this will involve working with the other offices of the firm across the globe. You will be responsible for building up the practice within the British Virgin Islands, promoting the firm and establishing close working relationships with clients, as well as managing your own litigation assignments. As a leader in the firm, you will also be responsible for developing and mentoring junior members of staff. This is a fantastic opportunity for successful candidates to combine offshore experience with excellent partnership prospects, as this position will most likely become the Managing position of the firm.

Who we're looking for
• UK-qualified lawyer, preferably a Barrister, or alternatively Solicitor with extensive litigation experience.
• Candidates must be committed to relocating to the British Virgin Islands, to building up the firm and investing time and care in the practice.
• Previous experience of the offshore legal market is advantageous, but not essential.
