Senior Buyer / E Auction Controller

Working for this large FMCG Retailer in West Yorkshire, your aim will be to maximise profitability through ensuring most efficient costing within your category of Indirect Spend. In addition to this you will pioneer the introduction of E-Procurement and E-Auctions into the wider business, across both direct and indirect categories. You will be responsible for the development and ongoing maintenance and upgrading of the E-Procurement functions, along with taking full responsibility for the training of others in using such systems. You will take full responsibility for introducing the E-auction processes, and assist in engaging buy-in from the various stakeholders and divisions within the wider company to use the centralised E-Auction tool. In summary, your aim will be
• To establish and manage the implementation of the e-auction tool and programme.
• To ensure annual target savings are enabled and delivered
• To ensure all opportunities are fully evaluated and considered
• To deliver new procurement strategy and 3 year plan
• To ensure best procurement practice is fully implemented yielding substantial benefits to the business.

Who we're looking for
Tenacious and determined, you will rise to the challenge offered by this exciting role. With excellent commercial awareness and procurement skills, you will be a stronginfluencer and decision maker. Excellent communications skills are an absolute necessity, as are superb negotiation skills. MCIPS qualifications are desirable, but not a necessity.
