Yorkshire based Account Manager required to work on Grocery account covering Chilled Ready Meals for leading international food manufacturer. Key Accountabilities will include:

1. To assist commercial function and facilitate commercial issues
2. To collate cuisine specific sales data and present the information in a pre-agreed format with the Commercial Manager
3. Contribute to the writing and deliverance of the Waitrose ready meal account plan, and monitor progress.
4. Performance monitor the cuisine by product against Budget/YOY data/retailer, supplier and total market competition, including promotions and new product performance.
5. Identify sales opportunities/gaps and sense check with Commercial Manager on proposed actions.
6. To be 2nd point of commercial contact to Waitrose in the absence of Commercial Manager
7. To conduct store audits
8. On site Connect champion
9. To organise and manage any sample requests from Waitrose or Press.

Who we're looking for
This a fantastic opportunity for a confident, articulate andhigh achieving candidate looking to progress their career within national accounts. The ideal candidate with be numerical and analytical and have a can do attitude and ideally be working within the FMCG sector. You will be able to analyse and interpret data and ideally have an understanding of Category Management within an FMCG environment.
To be eligible for the role of Account Manager you must be based in the Yorkshire and Lincolnshire area.
