An exciting opportunity has arisen within the Healthcare division, of this Global FMCG & Healthcare manufacturing organisation, for a Buyer.

As the Buyer you will report into the Purchasing Manager and your main responsibilities will include:
• Direct responsibility for the procurement of Raw Materials representing a £20m spend.
• Lead, develop and implement procurement strategy across a diverse group of stakeholders for the Raw Materials portfolio.
• Derive maximum value for the business from suppliers through analysing Total Cost, Service and Quality.
• Drive NPD projects through results based delivery, stakeholder management and supplier selection.
• Source, develop and maintain a varied supplier base utilising existing supplier rating techniques and driving your own strategy to ensure total cost optimisation.

Who we're looking for
Ideally you will have a demonstrable track record within procurement, portfolio management and stakeholder management. You will have excellent relationship building and influencing skills with senior stakeholders as well as suppliers. It would be beneficial to have an understanding of the FMCG, Healthcare or Manufacturing sectors.
