Leading Financial Services client based on North/North Yorks seeks Lead Strategy Analyst to scope, drive & recommend strategy initiatives across banking.
This is an exciting time for my client who are revolutionising their banking products and services offerings for customers. the role sits within the Banking Infrastructure team and reports to the Strategy Manager. You will work in a focussed team, building relationships across all areas of the business and working closely with the IT function to look at the medium to long term strategy of the infrastructure area. As Lead Strategy Analyst, after scope and define the strategic ideas you will be responsible for producing detailed and considered recommendations to the banking leadership team on direction, feasibility, costs, risks and constraints of chosen initiatives. This will require analysis, financial/cost management (responsibility for budget), defining business cases and collating information using PowerPoint to present to senior management.

Who we're looking for
A background in Financial Services is not essential but you must have gained strategy development and project management skills from a large, complex business environment (perhaps Management Consultancy).You will be an excellent communicator who will network externally and internally to forge lasting business relationships.
In addition you will:
• proven track record in strategy and project management
• have a strong understanding of IT and infrastructure and be able to communicate with both business and IT teams
• be highly analytical - financial modelling, cost management, business analysis
• have an understanding of project/programme management in order to work with these teams to define the feasibility of strategic initiatives
• competent PowerPoint user and able to present to the business and run workshops
