As Business Development Manager you will work closely with key contacts / stakeholders to identify, leverage and maximise revenue generation opportunities, by facilitating and developing all aspects of the business development process.
Your responsibilities will be split between internal and external business development.
Responsibilities include:-
Lead generation
Cold calling decision makers to arrange meetings
Attend meetings with decision makers to initiate and build relationships.
Who we're looking for
You must possess excellent influencing, strong communication and facilitation skills in order to be credible and to to be able to challenge senior management.
Business development knowledge and a detailed knowledge of the business development process in a service environment is key to success in this role.
Ability to build and mange relationships at a senior level, as the successful candidate will be required to change and influence the behaviour of senior people.
You will possess a 'can do' approach and to have a sound business understanding.
Creative and innovative in order to be able to effectively communicate key business messages to a diverse audience. Excellent project management skills are also required.
You will ideally be educated to degree level with at least experience in direct business development and sales in a professional services environment or other similar blue chip.
