• Develops a business plan and sales strategy for the market that ensures attainment of company sales goals and profitability.
• Responsible for the performance and development of the sales team in the UK and Europe.
• Initiates and coordinates development of action plans to penetrate new markets.
• Ensure all KPI's are met and exceeded across the team
• Assists in the development and implementation of marketing plans as needed.
• Leads from the front, result orientated
• Performs reviews, appraisals, training and coaching
• Maintains accurate records of all sales, and activity reports submitted by the sales team.
• Presents achievements and plans to board members on a quarterly basis.
• Strong organisational skills and effective monitoring of all skills/KPI's
• Recruits, tests, and hires S & CS team based on criteria agreed upon by senior management.

Who we're looking for
You will be an accomplished Sales Manager with experience of leading internal teams. A background in b2b services is essential, manufacturing would be advantageous. You will be used to driving capabilities of your team members and growing sales across a given territory. This role requires someone who can lead from the front and proactively bring in new sales by identifying new clients.
