As Business Development Manager for Spire Wellesley Hospital in Southend-on-Sea you will be responsible for all elements of developing new business opportunities, as well as account managing existing relationships. Reporting directly to the Hospital Director, you will take a leadership role as part of the management team. You will be responsible for the full sales function of the Hospital in order to develop and deliver annual sales plans. This will include sales planning and forecasting, customer relationship management, and new opportunity development and management. You will be responsible for new product development, market research, marketing to stimulate interest and delivering on your detailed business plan post-approval.
Who we're looking for
Ideally you will have a proven track record in disciplines that span sales, marketing, and operations. Your broad business exposure will enable you to put together detailed business plans and deliver profitable revenue streams based upon these plans. Background knowledge of the healthcare industry would be highly advantageous, but is not essential. Key to success as BDM is an ability to build commercial business relationships and develop practicable business solutions. You must be within commutable distance of Southend-on-Sea.
