Due to continued growth, a genuinely exciting opportunity has arisen for a Financial Accountant within the UK's market leading Honey Producer. Rowse Honey are seeking a strong Financial Accountant to join their growing business based in Wallingford.
As the Financial Accountant, your responsibilities will include:

• Stock valuation - weekly / monthly

• Month end preparation & journal entries

• Year end audit

• Monthly VAT and Intrastats

• Weekly/Daily Cash flow

• Insurance control

• Pension control

• P11D

• International payments and foreign currency drawdowns

Who we're looking for
We are looking for people with experience in Financial Accounting who are looking to join a growing business. You will have built a strong knowledge of accounting duties through your career and will be looking to utilise this experience in your next role.

The ideal candidate will be:
• Interpersonally strong with the ability to communicate to senior colleagues
• Motivated, professional self starter who can work well independently as well as in a team environment
• Able to work well under strict deadlines and pay attention to detail
• Willing to learn new skills/concepts and be challenged
• Have a proven ability to develop and work to effective financial systems
• A background of working in a manufacturing company would be advantageous but not crucial

Rowse Honey produces branded and own label speciality honeys, including organic and fair trade maple syrup, luxury curds and desert sauces. This fast moving profitable company have already experienced growth of 20% year on year and have a current turnover of circa £60m.
